Lady Skins Use 20-0 Run to Blow Out Clayton

The Liberal Lady Redskins have now won twice as many as last year. LHS is 8-5 after defeating class 3A New Mexico’s Clayton Lady Yellowjackets 55-27 Tuesday night in the Big House. The Lady Skins led by 10 at the half and used a 20-0 run to begin the second half.
Liberal led 15-10 after one quarter and 27-17 at the half. LHS led 49-23 after three right after their 20-0 run gave them at 47-17 lead.
Diamond Bailey scored 17 and Jada Mickens dropped in 16 for the Lady Redskins. The Lady Skins shot 51 percent and held Clayton to 20 percent shooting.
Liberal is 8-5 and Clayton is 7-10. Liberal avenges a two point loss at Clayton last year. Liberal hosts Great Bend February 5 at 6. The Lady Redskins will be featured guests during the Rowdy Crowd Show Thursday night at 5:30 at Billy’s on 1270 and kscbnews.net.
