Guymon’s coach is stepping down. Here is a press release from Guymon Public Schools.

Mike Taylor has resigned his position as head football coach, head soccer coach, and PE teacher. It was accepted last night at the Guymon Board of Education meeting. John Richmond was hired as the interim head football coach.

Taylor had been the head football coach the past two seasons going 0-10 in 2013 and 1-9 in 2014. Taylor has coached soccer for about 12 years in the spring and has coached football in Guymon for about 19 years. Richmond came on as offensive coordinator last year and ran a pro gun offense.
