LHS Swimming Fifth at Hays

Liberal’s swim team was fifth out of six teams at Hays Monday. Nikki Gill took fourth in the 100 butterfly with a time of 1:24.18. Paige Young and Nancy Varela competed in the 500 and placed fourth and sixth respectively. The 200 free relay was fourth and got a season best time of 2:10.52. Campus won the meet with 370 points, followed by Dodge City’s 319 points. Junction City took third with 196 points. LHS competes at Maize Saturday.
