LHS Girls Score 17 Points in Loss at Dodge City

The Liberal girls basketball team reached a new low Tuesday night at the Dodge City Fieldhouse. The Lady Redskins scored seven second half points in a 38-17 loss to the WAC’s first place team Dodge City. LHS finished 0-14 from three point range playing without injured leading scorer Megan Besecker who is likely out for the season. Dodge City didn’t shoot much better but dominated LHS on the boards in building a 23-10 lead at halftime. Liberal is 3-10 and 1-2 in the WAC while DCHS is 8-5 and 4-0 in the WAC. LHS plays at Great Bend Friday at 6 on 1270 and kscbnews.net.
