LHS Spikers Win Five of Six in Ark City

Liberal’s volleyball team went 5-1 and placed third at Ark City’s tournament Saturday. Liberal beat Winfield for third 25-19 25-17 after losing in the semifinals to Circle 14-25, 19-25. In pool play, LHS beat Ark City 25-16, 23-25, 28-26. They defeated Winfield 26-24, 25-13. LHS defeated Attica 24-26, 25-22, 25-18. Liberal topped Wichita South 29-27, 25-19.
Liberal is 7-2 and hosts a quad Tuesday at four with Ulysses, Guymon, and Colby.
