Colby Clips Seward in Five

KSCB News - September 4, 2014 6:24 am

The Seward volleyball team lost an opportunity for another key road win Wednesday night. Colby clipped Seward 3-2 after Seward had won at Barton a week ago. Seward lost (25-23, 23-25, 19-25, 25-23, 4-15). This was a key match as Colby was picked for second in the Jayhawk West and Seward was picked third. Colby finished two games in front of the Saints last season. Seward has lost four of their last five and falls to 6-4 overall and 1-1 in the Jayhawk West. The Saints play at Garden City Saturday at 2 against the Broncbusters and have a re-match with Frank Phillips at 4. The Plainsmen beat Seward in Vernon last weekend.
