Zach Reding’s seeing eye single off the glove of diving first baseman Zack Fields with one out in the ninth provided Liberal’s only hit. Nathan Smythe went 2.1 innings scoreless. Liberal has lost four straight and has a 21 inning scoreless streak. El Dorado is 13-18 and 10-17 in the Jayhawk while the BJ’s are 16-17 and 10-17 in the league. The same two teams meet Sunday night at 7 on 1270 and kscbnews.net.
