Seward continued their road struggles as they traveled to Clarendon Wednesday. The Bulldogs beat Seward 9-2 dropping Seward’s road record to 6-16.

The Bulldogs scored three in the first, four in the third, before adding single runs in the fourth and the eighth. Reed Thompson was 3-5 and Brandon Urquizo drove home both Seward runs. The Saints fall to 25-21 overall. SC used eight pitchers in the mid week game.

Seward returns to Jayhawk West action Friday at Brent Gould Field. The Saints host Cloud at 1 on 1270 and kscbnews.net.
