Jared Hasik is Mead Lumber Athlete of the Week

Liberal sophomore baseball player Jared Hasik is the Mead Lumber Athlete of the Week. Hasik was 6-7 in a two game sweep over Ulysses Tuesday in Liberal. He also pitched five strong innings for a win on the mound. The sophomore shortstop and pitcher wlll help lead the Redskins into their WAC opener at Great Bend Tuesday. The Skins are 2-3 after losses to Hugoton (3-1 and 3-2) and Weatherford, Ok (8-0) and wins over Ulysses (16-1 and 10-1).
