Liberal Shuts Out Wichita North

The Liberal Redskins shut out the Wichita North Redskins 1-0 on North’s homefield Saturday morning in the fifth place game of the Wichita North Cup. Eliel Gonzalez scored Liberal’s goal. LHS is 8-6 and takes a 2-4 WAC record to Great Bend Monday. Liberal’s Senior Night is Thursday against Dodge City at about 5:45. National Beef bought out the game.
