Skins Remain Scoreless in WAC

KSCB News - September 20, 2013 6:39 am

The Liberal soccer team found themselves in unfamiliar territory Thursday evening in Garden City. After winning the WAC 11 straight years, the Buffaloes claimed the conference crown last year. So LHS went in as the hunter rather than the hunted. But the Skins still can’t find the back of the net as Garden City beat Liberal 2-0 despite LHS leading shots on goal 14-4. The Redskins fall to 2-4 overall and 0-3 in the WAC without a WAC goal. Garden is 3-2 and 1-0 in the WAC. LHS hosts Thomas Moore Prep from Hays Thursday at about 5:50 at Redskin Field.
