Great Bend Shuts Down Liberal

Great Bend blanked Liberal 1-0 on Senior Night Monday night at the Cornelsen Sports Complex. Great Bend scored a goal on a corner kick into the north goal at the 21:08 mark of the second half. Liberal had just four shots on goal and Great Bend tallied seven. The Panthers are 11-4 overall and 5-3 in the WAC as they sweep the season series with LHS. The Redskins are 6-8-1 and 1-6 in the WAC. Liberal plays at Dodge City Thursday to wrap up the regular season.
