Rattlers Hope State is Lucky for 13’s

KSCB News - July 20, 2012 2:31 pm

The 13 year old Cimarron River Rattlers won their district at Ulysses last weekend and begin state play Friday at 2:30 in Garden City against Ottawa. Liberal High head baseball coach Eric Olmstead is coaching the team after the Senior Babe Ruth team folded this summer due to a lack of enough players to compete at districts. If the Rattlers win, they play Osawatomie or Derby at 5:30 Saturday. If they lose, they play at 12:30 Saturday.
