Saints Split at Butler

The Seward baseball team split four games at Butler. Saturday, the Saints lost game one to the Grizzlies 2-1 despite a Troy Owen homer. The Saints took game two Saturday 3-1 after a complete game from Oral Roberts signee Gavin Glanz. After rain on Sunday, the two teams played under sunny skies and temperatures in the 70’s on Monday. The Saints struggled in the first game losing 6-2 after committing five errors. In game two, the Saints broke through with an 18-2 victory. T.J. Looney tossed a one hitter. The Saints are 11-10 overall and 5-3 in the Jayhawk West. They play Rose State Tuesday at 2 p.m.
