LHS Bowlers Roll to Wichita for State

For the first time in school history, the Liberal High School boys bowling team qualified as a team for state. The Redskins took second at Great Bend Saturday. The compete a state Friday morning at Northrock in Wichita. Liberal’s state bound six are senior Adrian Amado, senior Lucas Poulton, junior Hunter Sandell, sophomore Jeff Minor, sophomore Hunter Rinehart, and freshman Tyler Killingsworth. Rinehart makes his second straight trip to state. Junior Kimberly Vanley is Liberal’s one state bound girl. This is her second straight trip to state. The bowlers and coach Eric Steiner were guests during the Tuesday Sportsguys.
