Saints Shake Off Early Struggles in 3-1 Win Over Pratt

Seward’s volleyball team may have experienced a hangover effect on Wednesday night from their loss at Enid Monday. The #20 Saints struggled in the first two sets but found their game in time to put away Pratt 3-1 in the Green House. Seward won (26-24, 23-25, 25-20, 25-18). Courtney Geesing nailed 21 kills. The 5’10" outside hitter from Montrose, Colorado has been the KJCCC player of the week the past three weeks. Seward is 18-7 overall and 7-2 in the Jayhawk West while Pratt falls to 8-16 overall and 3-5 in the Jayhawk West.

Seward host Cloud Saturday at 2 p.m. The Saints will host a free youth clinic at 10 a.m. Saturday morning.
