See-Saw Affair in Rattlers Opener in Fargo

KSCB News - August 4, 2011 1:09 pm

The 13-year-old Cimarron River Rattlers won state July 25. Maybe the lay off had something to do with an eight error outing in an opening round 10-8 loss to the East Twins from Minnesota Thursday in the opening round of the Midwest Plains Regional in Fargo, North Dakota. Minnesota led 3-0 early before the Kansas state champs rallied to take a 5-3 lead. Cimarron River took a 6-5 lead before the wheels fell off defensively.

The Rattlers play the loser of Scottsbluff, Nebraska and Grand Forks, North Dakota Friday at 10:30 a.m.
