Sunrise Special in Big House

Sunrise Christian (19-3) flexed their muscles in front of a big Big House Crowd Friday night in a 72-44 win over Liberal. The Redskins played without their best player Jade Cathey who was in Manhattan for his recruiting visit to Kansas State for football. He is expected to sign with the Wildcats Wednesday after giving the Cats a verbal pledge last spring. Slader McVey made four three pointers and scored 14 points. DeVondre Livingston added 12 points as the Redskins fall to 7-6 overall and 2-3 at home. LHS plays at Dodge City Tuesday night on Talkradio 1270 and kscbnews.net.
