Second Half Surge Boosts Lady Saints

KSCB News - December 6, 2010 12:00 am

If you looked at the Seward County Lady Saints and Lamar Lady Lopes

halftime box score when it read 28-25 and you looked at the final box

score that read 79-40, you would have thought that there was some kind

of misprint. However, it in fact looked like that on Saturday night as

the Lady Saints went into Lamar and outscored the Lopes 51-15 in the

second half to come away with a blowout 39 point win after leading by

just 3 points as the teams went into the locker rooms at half. Seward

is now 7-3 on the season and will look to keep their momentum rolling

into next weekend when a pair of stout opponents come to the Greenhouse

in Northeastern JC and Northern Oklahoma A&M for the 2010 Pizza Hut

Classic.
