City Bus Reaches 10,000 Passenger

City Bus, the public transit system for the City of Liberal, Kansas has reached another milestone- transporting its 10,000th rider on Friday, March 29. “March had the most riders of any month since we started”, said Jeff Young, Transit Supervisor.

There are two wheelchair accessible buses running fixed routes and one van utilized for door-to-door on-demand paratransit service. Bus services started September 17, 2012 and had 1,000 passengers in the first 12 working days.
