On July 4, 2026, the Haskell County Sheriff’s Office received a report regarding a dispute between neighbors, evolving into a physical altercation that occurred at the 800th block of South Osage Avenue in Satanta. The reporting party advised that they were unaware of the number of individuals involved and whether there were any weapons on scene or not. Upon arrival, deputies contacted the two individuals who fought with one another and proceeded to place Ramond Garcia-Rios into custody. Rios was subsequently transported to the Haskell County Jail where he was booked and processed for battery; knowingly/recklessly causing bodily harm, disorderly conduct; brawling or fighting, and interference with law enforcement officer; unknown circumstance; misdemeanor.
