County Commission Seats On The Ballot

Three seats in the Seward County Commsion are on the ballot for Tuesday’s primary election. In district two, incumbant Joyce Hibler is unopposed on the Democratic side while Gary Hittle and Ada Linenbroker face off on the Republican side. In district 3, incumbent Stephen “Ike” Eisenhauer faces Randy Malin. Both are Republicans. This race will be decided in Tuesday’s Primary. In district four, Toby Hale, a Democrat will be running for his party’s nomination ,while former Liberal Mayor Doug LaFreniere is on the Republican ticket. Both are running unopposed and will meet in the November General Election. C.J. Wettstein is the district one commisioner and Jim Rice is the district 5 commisioner. Residents can vote Tuesday at the Seward County Activity Center from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
