The Liberal soccer team beat Great Bend 2-0 Monday night in Great Bend.

The win means the Redskin hopes are alive for a WAC title with a home

game with Dodge City remaining Thursday night at Redskin Field.

In the first half,  Liberal kept Great Bend scoreless with Levi Flores making four big
saves ending the first half 0-0. In the second half, Liberal kept pressure on
the Panthers.  Estevan Dominguez scored  with an assist from Kevin
Guerrero and free kick shot by David Arroyo. Levi Flores made four more
great saves keeping Great Bend scoreless.

Liberal is 11-3-1 and 6-0-1 in the WAC. The Redskins host Dodge City Thursday

night at 6:30 for Senior Night.  If Liberal wins or ties, they clinch their second

straight WAC title.  Admission is free thanks to Community Bank who bought

out the game.
