Last fall, Eli Svaty, Director of Seward County Development Corporation, presented the Farmers Market Young Entrepreneur of 2024 award to each of the Phan sisters, whose business is known as Wovenique. Their crocheted animals were one of the most popular items at the market last summer. Thursday, Wovenique placed in the top group at the Kansas Entrepreneurship Challenge at K-State and won $2,500 prize.
