Workplace Strategy Workshop Offered At SCCC/ATS

KSCB News - March 16, 2011 3:27 pm

Learn to develop strategies for managing negative attitudes and behaviors in the workplace through the workshop “Pot Scrubbers vs. Pot Stirrers.”

The workshop will be held from 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m., Monday, April 11 in room SW229 A/B at Seward County Community College/Area Technical School in Liberal, Kansas.

Before strategies can be developed, John Mulvaney, instructor, says “we must first understand the motive behind negativity and how to manage our own emotions before dealing with difficult people. Once the definitions and parameters are defined for “pot scrubbers” and “pot stirrers” communication and management techniques can be identified.”

The cost is $79 per person. Group rates are available for four or more.

For information or to enroll, call the SCCC/ATS office of business and industry, 620-417-1170.
