...ANOTHER WINDY DAY IS EXPECTED SOUTH OF THE ARKANSAS RIVER. AN
ANOMALOUSLY COLD AIRMASS WILL LEAD TO FREEZING TEMPERATURES THIS
MORNING AND PARTICULARLY FRIDAY MORNING...

.A COLD AIRMASS HAS SPREAD ACROSS THE REGION. THIS WILL LEAD TO
FREEZING TEMPERATURES THIS MORNING AND THEN AGAIN FRIDAY MORNING.
IN ADDITION...A STRONG PRESSURE GRADIENT AND MIXING WILL RESULT IN
WINDY CONDITIONS ACROSS PORTIONS OF THE REGION YET AGAIN TODAY.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN DODGE CITY HAS ISSUED A HARD
FREEZE WARNING...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 11 PM THIS EVENING TO
1 PM CDT FRIDAY. A WIND ADVISORY HAS ALSO BEEN ISSUED. THIS WIND
ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM CDT THIS EVENING. THE HARD
FREEZE WATCH IS NO LONGER IN EFFECT.

* TIMING...THE COLDEST MINIMUM TEMPERATURES WILL BE BETWEEN 4 AM
  CDT AND 8 AM CDT THIS MORNING AND THEN AGAIN FRIDAY MORNING. THE
  STRONGEST WINDS WILL BE BETWEEN 4 AM CDT AND 7 PM CDT TONIGHT.

* WINDS...WINDS WILL BE NORTHERLY 25 TO 35 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 45 MPH.

* TEMPERATURE...29 TO 31 DEGREES THIS MORNING. LOW TEMPERATURES OF
  25 TO 28 DEGREES THURSDAY NIGHT.

* IMPACTS...SENSITIVE VEGETATION MAY BE KILLED UNLESS PROTECTED. STRONG
  WINDS WILL MAKE TRAVEL DIFFICULT ON WEST TO EAST ROADS.

A HARD FREEZE WARNING MEANS SUB-FREEZING TEMPERATURES ARE
