West Leads Liberal at WAC Meet in Hays

The LHS boys and girls cross country teams competed at the Western Athletic Conference meet at Hays on Thursday.  The girls finished fifth and the boys were fourth.  Hallie West was sixth in 16:30 to lead LHS and make her honorable mention all WAC.  Audrey Gilmore was 24th in 17:32, and Reese Hay was 29th in 17:36.  Alex Lopez led the boys with a 15th place finish at 18:08.  Edwin Murrillo was 20th at 18:16 and Daniel Amparan was 24th at 18:38.  Here are the WAC teams results.
