Weather Forces Changes to Seward Schedule

Well, you know it is baseball and softball season when the mild January weather turns to winter in February. Mother Nature has forced the following changes to the Seward County Baseball schedule. Last Thursday’s games with Lamar that were suspended due to lightning, will be resumed on February 21 st at 1:00. Game one was tied 2-2 in the top of the 8 th inning and will be continued from that point and at the conclusion of that game, a 9 inning game will be played with the Lopes. Tomorrow’s double header with Frank Phillips in Borger has been shifted to Wednesday with the same 1:00 start time.

The Seward County Lady Saints Softball season opener originally scheduled for tomorrow in Tonkawa, Oklahoma has been postponed due to weather until February 23 rd . The Lady Saints will take on the Mavs at 2:00 & 4:00 in a double header.
