USD 480 Board Meets Approves Microscope Purchases

The USD 480 Board met Tuesday evening and approved a purchase request for 25 Swift M 3602-3 microscopes and 8 Swift SM102C microscopes from Richardson Microscopes for $13,467. These are replacements for microscopes purchased prior to 1983 as it is no longer cost effective to repair them.

Also approved was the renewal of the digital 7th grade history instructional materials from Gibbs-Smith Education in the amount of $14,950, and a Memorandum of Understanding between the LNEA and USD 480. The IBB team developed this MOU to guide the district with remote learning and remote teaching during the COVID pandemic. The teachers voted and ratified the MOU last week.
