USCIS to Welcome 250 New US Citizens at Wichita State University

WICHITA, Kan. – U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services and the U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas will welcome 250 new citizens Thursday at Wichita State University. U.S. District Judge John W. Broomes will preside, and a clerk from the court will administer the Oath of Allegiance.

The citizenship candidates originate from 52 countries: Afghanistan, Algeria, Australia, Bangladesh, Bolivia, Brazil, Burma, Cambodia, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Congo, Cuba, Ecuador, El Salvador, Germany, Ghana, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Hong Kong, India, Iran, Ireland, Italy, Jamaica, Jordan, Kenya, Laos, Mexico, Morocco, Nepal, Netherlands, Nicaragua, Nigeria, Pakistan, Peru, Philippines, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Syria, Taiwan, Tanzania, Thailand, Tunisia, Turkey, Uganda, Ukraine, United Kingdom and Vietnam.
