Ulysses Teen Crashes into a Building

A Ulysses teenager is in the hospital after crashing a pick up into a building in Ulysses early Saturday morning. The Kansas Highway Patrol reports 17 year old Jennifer Hernandez of Ulysses was taken to Bob Wilson Memorial Hospital with injuries after the crash which occurred at about 2:30 in the morning. Hernandez was headed north on Stubbs Road at a high rate of speed. Hernandez failed to stop, lost control of the vehicle, and crossed the frontage road. Hernandez then crashed the 2002 Ram Pick-up she was driving into a building. The crash took place at Stubbs Road and U160 in Ulysses.
