Ulysses Police Make Drug Arrest

On Monday April 25th, Officers of the Ulysses Police Department were dispatched to investigate multiple shots fired. Through the investigation officers located several witnesses and were able to identify where the incident occurred.

Officers with the Ulysses Police Department were able to obtain a search warrant for the location of the incident. The Grant County Sheriffs Department assisted with the execution of the search warrant. Several items of drug paraphernalia and illegal narcotics were located during the execution of the search warrant.

One juvenile and one adult are expected to be charged with crimes related to the evidence collected during the search. The names of the suspects are being withheld pending the filing of formal charges.

One adult was arrested and charged with Unlawful Discharge of a Firearms within the City Limits. A firearm was collected.

No injuries were reported related to the incident.
