Ulysses Man Injured In Accident

A 44 year old man from Ulysses was transported to Edwards County Hospital after an accident Monday afternoon on 260th avenue a mile and a half north of the Kiowa/Edwards County line. State troopers say Francisco Hernandez was transporting cattle and swerved to avoid a deer in the road. Hernandez lost control and the vehicle did a quarter turn into a ditch, coming to rest on the passenger side.
