U.S. 83 Work Begins in Haskell and Finney Counties

Work  began Feb. 18 on the addition of passing lanes and the realignment of U.S. 83 in Haskell and Finney counties. The project, which begins approximately 4.5 miles north of the U.S. 83/160 junction in Haskell County, extends 10 miles north into Finney County.

Venture Corporation of Great Bend is the contractor on this $24 million project, which is expected to be completed in July 2021.
