Joe Denoyer - February 18, 2021 7:51 am

Crews are expected to begin repairs on the U.S. 83 overpass in Seward County on Monday, March 1, according to the Kansas Department of Transportation.  The project will replace expansion joints and repair approach panels at both ends of the overpass.

Traffic will be reduced to one lane controlled by temporary traffic signals at both ends of the overpass during the project.

PCI Roads, LLC of Topeka is the contractor on this $450,000 project, which is expected to be completed in May, weather permitting.

For more information on this project, contact Larry Meyer, Area Construction Manager, at (620) 384-7821, or Lisa Knoll, KDOT District 6 Public Affairs Manager, at (620) 260-6397.
