Two Vehicle Accident in Beaver County

A two vehicle injury accident occurred Sunday evening at approximately 5:42pm at the junction of US270 and Highway 23 in Elmwood, OK in Beaver county.

A 2005 Dodge Caravan driven by Jose Luis Morales age 55, of Duncan, OK. was heading west on US270 while a 2008 Suzuki Firenze being driven by Guy Phillip Harris, 68 of Cunningham KS was heading east.

The Suzuki started to turn North onto Highway 23, failing to yield to the Caravan, striking it.

Harris was transported by Beaver County EMS to Ochiltree General Hospital in Perryton, TX where he was admitted in stable
condition with trunk internal and head injuries.

Morales was taken by Beaver County EMS to Ochiltree General Hospital in Perryton TX and was admitted for observation.

Both drivers were extricated by Beaver County Fire Department with the jaws of life.
