Two Seward Spikers Sign

KSCB News - April 13, 2012 4:23 pm

Two of Seward’s standouts in their volleyball program signed Friday in the All American Room at SCCC/ATS. Courtney Geesing signed at Southern Arkansas and Daiane Souza inked at Southwestern Oklahoma State where Seward’s LaKendra Sanders plays.

Geesing finishes 10th in kills at Seward with 747. The 5’10" outside hitter from Montrose, Colorado was a first team all Region 6 and Jayhawk West player for the 25-16 region runner up Saints this season.

Souza had 563 kills after an injury riddled sophomore season. The 5’9" outside hitter from Santa Isabel, Brazil was a first team all conference player as a freshman.

The interviews with the two Seward volleyball players and coach Lewallen air Monday morning during the Sportsguys between 7:37 and 9 on Talkradio 1270 and kscbnews.net.
