Two Senior SWH Girls Claim Top Academic Honors

Vivian Olvera and Holly Brown from Southwestern Heights earned the top two academic achievements a student can reach at Southwestern Heights. The school announced that Olvera is the 2009 Valedictorian, with Brown earning the Salutatorian. Olvera and Brown were both key pieces to the Lady Mustangs state championship back in March in Hutchinson. Olvera led Heights with 28 points as they claimed the school’s third state championship in girl’s basketball.
