Two Saints Invited to Mullen’s Camp

KSCB News - July 6, 2011 4:46 pm

If it is any kind of indication of what kind of talent the Saints will have on the court for the 2011-2012 basketball season, Seward County looks to be in pretty good shape as two players on their roster will be headed to the Mullen’s Top 100 JC Camp this weekend in St. Louis, Missouri. Sophomore big man and human highlight reel Daveon Boardingham and transfer guard Deverell Biggs who averaged 14 points per game as a freshman at Western Texas will sport the green and white and represent the Saints at the high profile camp. The pair will join seven other Jayhawk Conference players at the event that is a hotbed on Division 1 coaches recruiting maps. Last season alone, 71 Mullen’s Top 100 players signed Division 1 including 6 Big 12 signees and a pair of Big East signees among others headed to power conferences in the fall.
