Tornadoes and Hail Cap Holiday Weekend

Two tornadoes were reported in the Oklahoma Panhandle Monday night while the Weather Channel captured a large tornado on video in Baca County, Colorado. A trained spotter saw a tornado 11 miles northwest of Keyes in Cimarron County at 7:58 p.m. Broadcast media reported a tornado which became rain wrapped at 8:51 p.m. four miles northwest of Eva in Texas County. Hail which was measured at 2.50 inches in diameter was reported 11 miles southeast of Texhoma in Sherman County. Hail measured at 1.75 inches was reported six miles west of Eva at 9:00 p.m. and two miles south of Guymon at 9:03 p.m.
