Three BJ’s Named First Team All Jayhawk

Three Liberal Bee Jays make the first team and one on the second team for the Jayhawk League All Start team this season. Liberal’s Brent Williams, Madison Foster, and Brady Cox make the first team and Gavin Wehby is on the second team .

Williams, the catcher from Seward headed to Oral Roberts, is batting .363 with six homers and 41 RBI’s. The Colorado Springs product was the BJ Player of the Year. Cox, the corner infielder and catcher from Texas-Arlington and Fort Worth, Texas is batting .372 with six homers and 34 RBI’s. Foster, the outfielder from Olivet Nazarene and Indianapolis, Indiana is batting .387 with two homers and 31 RBI’s. Wehby, the outfielder from Nicholls State and Pensacola, Florida is batting .390 with three homers and 25 RBI’s. The Bee Jays were 22-14 in the Jayhawk League. They play in the NBC’s Championship Week Saturday at 1 p.m. against the San Diego Waves on 1270 and kscbnews.net.
