Texhoma Teen Dies in Cimarron County OK Crash

A fatality collision occurred early Sunday morning 7/09/17 at approximately 1:00am on US64 just west of mile 42 approximately 3 miles southwest of Keyes Oklahoma in Cimarron County. Cause of the accident is under investigation.

A 1990 Ford Bronco driven by Dominic Daniel Loya, 18, of Boise City, Oklahoma was involved in the crash. He was transported by Boise City EMS to Cimarron Memorial Hospital. Treated and Released.

A passenger, in the vehicle, Mathew Baxley, 19, of Boise City, Oklahoma was thrown from the vehicle and transported by Boise City EMS to Cimarron Memorial Hospital and later to Northwest Texas Hospital in Amarillo, Texas. Admitted in stable condition with head and internal trunk injuries.

A 2nd passenger, Jade Hobbs, 19, of Boise City, Oklahoma, was also thrown from the Bronco, and transported by Boise City EMS to Cimarron Memorial Hospital and later to Northwest Texas Hospital in Amarillo, Texas. Admitted in stable condition with trunk internal injuries

A 3rd passenger whose name has been withheld because she is a juvenile age 16 of Texhoma, Oklahoma was pronounced dead at the scene with head, arm, leg and trunk internal injuries. She was pinned in the vehicle for approximately an hour and extracted by Cimarron County and Keyes Fire Departments.

The accident was investigated by Trooper Grant Arnold #325 of the Texas County Detachment of Troop I. Assisted by Boise City EMS, Cimarron County Sheriff’s Office, Boise City Police Department, Boise City Fire and Keyes  Fire Department
