SWMC Welcomes 1st Baby of 2012

The first new baby of 2012 has arrived at Southwest Medical Center, and it’s a boy!. The child,arrived January 1, 2012, at 12:07pm Sunday afternoon. The baby was born to Celedonia Luis Ruiz, and weighed 6 pounds 13 ounces, and measured 19 1/2 inches long. KSCB and The Legend presented gifts to the proud mother courtesy of El Kan, The Flower Basket, and Fashion Tree Boutique. There to welcome the newborn was Amanda, Alicia, and Cheryl Collins of KSCB and The Legend and Nurse Olga Beyna. Pictured are Nurse Beyna, Mother Celedonia and Baby, and Amanda Collins.
