Recently, the Sublette Recreation Commission has been awarded a $170,750 grant through the Land and Water Conservation Fund, administered by the Kansas Department of Wildlife & Parks.
This funding will help make a community splash pad at the Sublette Recreation Center a reality—bringing a fun, family-friendly place for kids, families, and visitors to cool off, connect, and enjoy the summer months.
This project has been proudly championed by the Haskell County Rotary Club and reflects what can happen when a community comes together around a shared vision for recreation, wellness, and quality of life. The splash pad expected to be completed in 2026!
