Snoopy Flies Into Mid-America Air Museum For A Visit

Snoopy, as the World War I Flying Ace opened at Liberal’s Mid-America Air Museum on Mach 25th. The display, features Snoopy, Charles M. Schultz’s loveable beagle as his alter ego, The Flying Ace. The exhibit showcases 40 of Snoopy’s most exciting adventures in his transformed dog house, now a Sopwith Camel airplane, from the time he faces a deadly bout with influenza to sparring with the Flying Aces archenemy, The Red Baron. The exhibit will be on display until April 30th,and will also feature World War I artifacts on loan from the Kansas National Guard Museum and the World War I Museum. Several schools from around the area have already scheduled tours of the exhibit, with curriculum guides and lesson plans provided before their visit.
