Slader McVey is Athlete of the Week

Liberal junior quarterback Slader McVey is the Mead Lumber Athlete of the Week. McVey through three touchdown passed and did not commit a turnover against 10-0 Hutchinson Friday. McVey finished with a school recored 1,663 yards passing and 18 touchdowns this year. He rushed for 187 yards and five touchdowns this year. McVey will play basketball beginning Monday and will compete in track and golf again this spring. McVey has a 3.8 G.P.A.
