Size on the Side of Southwestern Heights

Brock Kappelmann - August 18, 2023 7:15 am

Southwestern Heights has a big line.  On average, 6th year head coach Matt Bell says the average size of his line is about 6’2″ 275 lbs.  The four juniors and one senior on the line will be the lynch pin for the 2023 season.  Heights was 2-7 last year against a rugged schedule.

The Mustangs only have four seniors out for football.  They have 40 players and six starters back on both sides of the ball.

Some of the key Mustangs are Jr. LT/NG Tony Isais (6’3″ 320) Jr. LG Cooper Scripsick, Jr. RG Jaime Garcia, Jr. RT/DT Kyler Cox, Sr. RB/DE Javier Jacquez, and  Sr. WR/MLB Markus Trejo.

The Mustangs are featured during the Friday morning Sportsguys.
