Brock Kappelmann - May 11, 2020 2:54 pm

Seward shooting guard Kyle Cardaci has verbally committed to play basketball at division 1 Coppin State.  Cardaci made his announcement on Twitter on Sunday.

The 6’2″ 190 pound sophomore from Holmdel, New Jersey played one year at Seward after transferring from Bryant University.  Cardaci prepped at Mater Dei Prep.

In the 2019-20 SCCC season, Cardaci averaged 10.5 points per game while making 40 percent from the field, 35 percent from three point range, and 85 percent at the foul line.  Cardaci made 44-125 three pointers.  Kyle scored 26 in a win over Triton on December 27 in Las Vegas.

Coppin State is coming off an 11-20 season under coach Juan Dixon.
