Seward, Meade County Deputies Pursue Stolen Vehicle

Early Monday morning, 07/10/2017, at approximately. 12:56am, Seward County Sheriff Deputies located a stolen Saab vehicle, in the Kismet area. The vehicle was reported stolen at Loves country store in Liberal. While attempting to stop the vehicle, the driver refused to stop. Deputies chased the stolen vehicle with speeds of 85-90 MPH in Seward County and 100 MPH or more through Meade County area. Upon attempting to stop the vehicle the Deputies in Meade County used stop sticks to stop the run vehicle. The sticks stopped the driver and vehicle and Deputies placed the driver into custody with pending charges in both counties. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
