Seward County Meets For Regular Meeting

Seward County Board of County Commissioners met on Monday evening for their regular meeting.

The meeting started with a request from Christy Mulanax of JCAPS to carry over 2017 funds into the 2018 Budget. This was approved by the Commissioners.

Discussion was held on improvements to Jane Ann Lane and Wide Awake Lane. The County will inquire if the landowners at these roads would be willing to absorb the costs of the improvements. If landowners agree, the Seward county Road Department would take care of doing the work.

The Commissioner approved the contract with Hay, Rice, and Assoc. for the Annual County Audit, approved purchasing equipment and setting policy to Facebook Live stream County meetings, and appointed Nancy Bowman to the Council on Aging Board.
